Centerpiece Inspiration (Major DIY!)
The centerpieces will be non-floral. I'm just so not a "flower person."
They are 3 5"x7" wooden frames that I will stamp with a blue polka dot pattern and spray to give a "sheen." Then I will glue the frames together in a triangle shape.
In each frame there will be a photo printed on vellum paper of FI and/or me, or both of us. The table number will be the year (2004 through 2011, FI and mine's "Courtship") or the time period of the photos that are featured (Baby, preteen, teen, etc years).
I will then put a tealight in the middle of each centerpiece, and it will make the photos "glow."
Underneath the centerpiece I will either have a cut wood block (for the "rustic" part of our theme). Also the place cards will be set on tiny wood pieces.
The menu will be on a paper doily (for the "vintage" part of our theme)
I really should do a mock-up of all this :) After I do the invites!
