Our Story
May 7, 2004 - May 7, 2011
It all started with a Toga Party
FI invited me to a Toga cocktail party as his date. But in order to go to a Toga party, we needed bed sheets....
So we had a mini-date a few days earlier in the week. We caught a bus on campus and rode to Northgate. We went to Target to pick out Toga linens. I picked a purple set, and FI a green set.
On that fateful Friday (May 7th), I met up with FI at his fraternity and we had an Animal House type evening :) We were surrounded by FI's fraternity brothers and many of my sorority sisters. Many of whom will also attend the wedding!
I had an overnight Sisterhood the next weekend, and FI wanted to take me out on another date... to Jack-In-The-Box! Dates have been upgraded since then ;)

The Proposal
FI proposed after dinner at John Howie Steak House for his birthday. Once we returned to our apartment, he opened his birthday presents; Season 4 of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (one of their favorite shows to watch) from his sister, and a PS3 from me.
He told me that he had one more present, but it was for both of us. FI left me in the living room of our apartment and went to his side of the closet in the bedroom. He came back, went down on one knee, and my eyes were closed. He told me I could open my eyes, and he asked me to marry him! I said "Of course!"
